Breed: Labrador Retriever Shepherd

Age: Young

Sex: M

Size: L
Scotty: lab/shepherd mix, grayish black/tan, male,1 year, 65 &#; 70 pounds
Scotty was surrendered due to his nervousness. Since his arrival,
Scotty has gotten quite comfortable in his own skin. As he gains
confidence, his playful nature is coming out. He is quite dog social
with good dog skills. He is friendly with people he knows though he is
curious about visitors &#; he will go up to the fence to see new people.
Scotty is housebroken with good indoor manners. He is athletic, eager
to please and very willing to learn &#; all the basics of a good companion.
UPDATE: Scotty was recently adopted and returned as he was showing some negative behaviours with strangers and with other dogs at the dog park and dog daycare. He was not displaying these qualities in his foster home previously so it would seem he was missing firm boundaries in his adoptive home. He is back with his foster home after a few weeks away and anyone adopting him will need to ensure they have the skills to navigate him through his teenage behaviours while he tests boundaries. He needs a dog savy home that can help him maintain his dog and people skills and provide him with enough physical and mental challenges to continue to build confidence.

Pets can be flown to new homes. Application and homecheck required for all homes, the dog will go to the best home for the dog.
